Terms of Service
Last updated: February 1, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using WooPlugs services, purchasing a ShopTune Pro license, or installing the ShopTune plugin, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our services.
2. Services
WooPlugs provides ShopTune, a WordPress/WooCommerce performance plugin, with a free version on WordPress.org and an optional Pro license. Services include plugin downloads, updates, license management, and customer support.
3. Licenses & Billing
- Pro licenses are billed annually in advance, in USD
- Checkout, billing and invoicing are handled by our merchant of record, Freemius
- Each plan includes a set number of sites; you can upgrade your plan at any time
- Licenses auto-renew unless cancelled before the end of the current period
4. License Use
- Each license is valid for the number of sites included in your plan
- Licenses are non-transferable between accounts
- Development and staging sites are free and do not count toward your site limit
- The free version remains free to use under the GPL regardless of license status
5. Free Version
ShopTune's free version provides genuinely useful functionality at no cost and is intended for production use. Pro unlocks additional features such as order archiving, the AJAX optimizer and benchmarks.
6. Cancellation & Renewals
- You may cancel at any time. Pro access continues until the end of the paid period
- When a license lapses, ShopTune reverts to the free version — your site keeps working and the Pro tabs lock
- No data is deleted when a license lapses — renew anytime to restore Pro features
7. Intellectual Property
ShopTune is licensed under the GNU General Public License (GPL-2.0-or-later). Your purchase covers access to updates and support. The ShopTune and WooPlugs names and branding remain the property of WooPlugs.
8. Limitation of Liability
WooPlugs is provided "as is". We are not liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use our services, including but not limited to lost profits, data loss, or business interruption.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
